Deck overview

This Golgari deck is a classic token-sacrifice engine helmed by Chatterfang, Squirrel General, whose passive multiplier turns every token creation into an army of Squirrels. The primary game plan is to establish Chatterfang alongside a sacrifice outlet like Warren Soultrader or Pitiless Plunderer, generate infinite treasure and squirrel tokens, then drain the table via blood-artist effects (Bastion of Remembrance, Zulaport Cutthroat, Mirkwood Bats). Secondary paths include a massive go-wide combat kill with Beastmaster Ascension or Triumph of the Hordes, and value accrual through token doublers like Parallel Lives and Peregrin Took. The deck has several token generators and payoff pieces but lacks robust tutoring, making inconsistent assembly the main bottleneck.
