K'rrik B3 by maggina

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black K'rrik deck uses life as mana to power expensive black spells and drain the table. K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth lets you pay 2 life per {B}, accelerating into Vilis, Bolas's Citadel, and Peer into the Abyss while growing itself. Primary wins are life-loss doublers and devotion drains: Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubling Exsanguinate/Torment of Hailfire after a Peer into the Abyss fueled by Skirge Familiar, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel loops via Chainer, Dementia Master with Animate Dead effects and Viscera Seer. Secondary paths include Aetherflux Reservoir storm and Bolas's Citadel value. Chainer acts as hidden commander, providing resilient recursion that lets the deck grind and rebuild without K'rrik.
