Deck overview

This Bant Blink deck, helmed by Lagrella, the Magpie, is a high-synergy engine that leverages a dense package of flicker spells and ETB creatures to generate overwhelming card advantage, tempo, and board control. Lagrella serves as a flexible value piece, offering temporary removal of opponents threats while simultaneously protecting and re-triggering your own creatures with +1/+1 counters. The main game plan is to deploy a critical mass of value engines like Soulherder, Teleportation Circle, and Panharmonicon, then repeatedly flicker creatures such as Mulldrifter, Skyclave Apparition, and Peregrine Drake to bury opponents in resources. The deck closes out games through infinite combo loops (Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake / Felidar Guardian + Restoration Angel), combat domination with Avenger of Zendikar + Craterhoof Behemoth, or value locks with Agent of Treachery.
