Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros tribal strategy centered on Bruse Tarl, Roving Rancher, turning humble Oxen and versatile Changelings into lethal combat threats. Bruse Tarl serves as both a value engine and a damage amplifier by granting all Oxen double strike and exiling cards on entry and attack to generate 2/2 Ox tokens or impulse card advantage. The deck curves low-cost shapeshifters and Oxen into powerful static anthems such as Shared Animosity, Inspiring Leader, and Warleader's Call, allowing token swarms to strike for massive double-strike damage as early as Turn 5. Blink engines like Teleportation Circle and Conjurer's Closet repeatedly re-trigger Bruse Tarl to maintain board presence and card velocity. Supported by a robust suite of efficient removal and free protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Flawless Maneuver, the deck applies relentless pressure across multiple combat steps to close out games.
