Deck overview

This deck is a Bant midrange strategy built around +1/+1 counters, keyword counters, and proliferation, led by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. The early game focuses on establishing mana dorks and low-cost creatures that enter with or generate counters, such as Gyre Sage, Agent's Toolkit, and Reluctant Role Model. Once Tidus enters the battlefield, attacking with modified creatures triggers Cheer to draw extra cards and proliferate counters across the entire team each turn. As the game transitions into the midgame, engines like Brokers Ascendancy, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, and Danny Pink supercharge counter generation into massive card advantage and board presence. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat damage, leveraging teamwide evasion, trample from Sphere Grid, double strike from Chocobo Knights, or one-sided board wipes like Damning Verdict. Robust removal and selective protection ensure resilience throughout protracted multiplayer games.
