Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula is a combat-copy spellslinger deck. The commander's attack trigger both makes red mana and copies spells cast during combat, so the deck wants to cast spells in the combat step and multiply them with storm, magecraft, and extra combat effects. Prismari, the Inspiration turns every instant and sorcery into a storm spell, while Storm-Kiln Artist and Veyran convert casts/copies into treasures and card advantage. The main win is a copied Comet Storm or Electrodominance, or burn from Fiery Inscription, Guttersnipe, and Longshot; secondary wins include extra combat damage from Scourge of the Throne and Moraug, plus planeswalker/beatdown pressure from Nicol Bolas and Sorin Markov. No hidden commander; the shell is built entirely around Azula's combat-copy ability.
