Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger strategy led by Vivi Ornitier. The game plan revolves around casting low-cost noncreature cantrips to grow Vivi with +1/+1 counters while dealing direct damage to all opponents. The primary engine accelerates dramatically when Vivi is enchanted with damage-triggered draw effects like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi pings each opponent simultaneously on every noncreature spell cast, each 1-mana spell draws three fresh cards. Vivi's activated mana ability then converts its accumulated power into explosive bursts of {U} and {R} mana. Supported by cost-neutral rituals and token engines like Storm-Kiln Artist and Ashling, Flame Dancer, the deck storms through its library to eliminate the entire table in a single decisive turn. A backup infinite combo featuring Niv-Mizzet, Parun provides a reliable alternate route to victory.
