Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Curse control strategy led by Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor. The primary plan relies on attaching oppressive Curse auras to opponents to drain their life totals and restrict their resources while Lynde converts curse movement into steady card draw. Early turns establish mana rocks and defensive enchantments like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison to slow incoming attacks. The deck ramps into Curse of Misfortunes, which automatically fetches lethal finishers such as Curse of Thirst and Curse of Bloodletting directly onto target players. Lynde provides built-in resilience by returning destroyed Curses from the graveyard to you, letting you reattach them to opponents on subsequent upkeeps. While the engine generates substantial card advantage and inevitably grinds down individual opponents, its damage output is single-target, resulting in a slow sequential finish across multiple table rotations.
