Deck overview

This deck is an Esper token midrange strategy commanded by Marneus Calgar. The primary game plan accelerates into early token engines such as Bitterblossom, Black Market Connections, and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar to fuel continuous card draw through Calgar's triggered ability. Once the card advantage engine is online, the deck amasses a wide board of tokens, amplifies them with doublers like Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and converts the swarm into lethal pressure using Commissar Severina Raine and combat anthems. The deck maintains high resilience and board protection with spells like Teferi's Protection, Fierce Guardianship, and Make a Stand, while leveraging versatile interaction including Cyclonic Rift, Anguished Unmaking, and Mana Drain to control opposing threats. It operates with smooth mana curve progression and exceptional sustained card velocity to out-value and overwhelm opponents.
