Y'shtola pretty kitty by Aerylis

Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a high-power Esper control-combo list built around Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. She turns every noncreature spell of mana value 3 or greater into 2 damage to each opponent and 2 life, then draws a card at the end of any turn in which a player lost 4 or more life. That package charges Bloodchief Ascension, feeds lifegain outlets, and makes expensive interaction do double duty as a drain engine. Primary wins are compact two-card loops in the 99: Exquisite Blood with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Enduring Tenacity, and Mindcrank with Bloodchief Ascension, Duskmantle Guildmage, or The Master of Lake-town. A secondary clock is Grafted Exoskeleton on Y'shtola, especially once Delney, Streetwise Lookout or Roaming Throne doubles the pings into infect. The deck plays draw-go behind a dense free-counter wall until a loop is ready, then wins on the spot.
