Deck overview

This Simic deck is helmed by Gor Muldrak, Amphinologist, focusing on a unique blend of creature-type manipulation, token generation, forced combat, and combat protection. Gor Muldrak distributes 4/3 blue Salamander Warrior creature tokens to players with the fewest creatures each end step while granting you and your permanents complete protection from Salamanders. By leveraging type-altering tools like Imagecrafter, Amoeboid Changeling, Unnatural Selection, and Standardize, you can turn opposing threats into Salamanders, completely shutting down their ability to damage you, block your creatures, or target your permanents. The deck amplifies token production with clones like Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Spark Double, draws cards steadily off high-power entries via Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising, and forces opponents to attack one another with Angler Turtle and Bident of Thassa. It closes games by overwhelming defenses using Coat of Arms, Raise the Palisade, or mass creature theft.
