Deck overview

Mazirek turns every sacrifice into +1/+1 counters across your board, so the deck piles up token generators, fetchlands, and sacrifice outlets to scale a wide army. The primary route is to grind out value with Grave Pact/Dictate of Erebos and a growing team, then finish with Craterhoof Behemoth. The secondary and tighter route is a Melira + persist loop (Putrid Goblin or Woodfall Primus) plus a sacrifice outlet and Blood Artist; Mazirek is optional for this line. Reyhan and The Ozolith provide a hidden commander-like counter-preservation theme. The deck is a resilient Golgari value engine with a compact combo, but it plays with almost no counterspells and can be forced to tap out.
