Deck overview

This mono-green deck commands the battlefield through Avatar Kyoshi, Earthbender, turning ordinary lands into massive elemental beaters. The game plan focuses on accelerating mana rapidly during turns 1 through 4 using efficient ramp spells and creatures. On turn 5, casting Kyoshi immediately triggers earthbend 8 on an untapped land, creating an 8/8 hasty attacker alongside a 6/6 commander with turn-long hexproof. Counter doublers like The Earth Crystal, Innkeeper's Talent, and Doubling Season rapidly inflate these land creatures into lethal juggernauts. Built-in land recursion cushions against board wipes, ensuring that removed land creatures return to ramp future turns. Supported by cheap protection spells such as Heroic Intervention and Tamiyo's Safekeeping, the deck defends its board state while trampling over opposing blockers. Without needing infinite combos, the deck applies overwhelming combat pressure to eliminate the entire table across turns 6 and 7.
