Deck overview

Queen Marchesa leads a Mardu pillowfort-goad control deck that wins by making opponents attack each other while you draw from the monarch. You protect yourself with taxes (Ghostly Prison, Crawlspace, Norn's Annex, Authority of the Consuls), fogs (Angelsong, Batwing Brume, Comeuppance) and No Mercy, and you force attacks with Disrupt Decorum, Bothersome Quasit, Geode Rager and Taunt from the Rampart. Court of Grace and Luminarch Ascension act as hidden commanders, providing redundant monarch and a steady stream of 4/4 Angels. Smothering Tithe and Esper Sentinel add ramp and draw. Queen Marchesa gives haste, deathtouch and Assassin tokens when you retake monarch, but the deck grinds without her and has no infinite combo.
