Format: Commander

Commander: Ygra, Eater of All

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ygra, Eater of All, is a value catalyst for a Golgari sacrifice engine. The deck floods the board with Pest, Spawn, Food, and Saproling tokens, then feeds them to sacrifice outlets while Ygra turns every creature into a Food, growing Ygra and gaining life. Drain effects (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Falkenrath Noble) convert deaths into universal life loss, and the persist loop of Woodfall Primus with Gorma, the Gullet provides an immediate kill. Secondary paths include commander damage from an oversized Ygra, Exsanguinate through Stensian Sanguinist, and grindy value from Moldervine Reclamation, God-Eternal Bontu, and repeated recursion. The commander's role is to multiply the value of every sacrificed creature and make life-gain triggers, while the deck itself is built around the sacrifice archetype and can run without her.
