Deck overview

This deck is a Jund forced-combat and damage-reflection ('spite') engine led by Thantis, the Warweaver. Its strategy revolves around gifting creature tokens to opponents with cards like Hunted Troll, Hunted Dragon, Hunted Horror, and Forbidden Orchard, and then forcing all creatures to attack each turn using Thantis, the Warweaver, Fumiko the Lowblood, and War's Toll. As opposing boards swell with creatures, the deck deploys indestructible or resilient damage-redirecting permanents such as Brash Taunter, Stuffy Doll, Barbed Servitor, and Repercussion. It then resolves massive symmetric damage sweepers like Blasphemous Act, Chain Reaction, and Star of Extinction. These sweepers turn every creature on the battlefield into direct damage aimed at opponents' life totals. Lifelink equipment such as Shadowspear and Basilisk Collar ensures the deck survives its own global damage while opponents are eliminated in rapid succession.
