Deck overview

Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms commands an aggressive mono-red Equipment strategy that cheats expensive artifacts directly onto the battlefield. The deck ramps steadily into Gilgamesh, whose enter and attack triggers dig six cards deep to deploy and equip powerful weapons for free. High-impact equipment like Colossus Hammer, Embercleave, and Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor quickly scale Gilgamesh into a lethal commander damage threat. Extra combat enablers such as Hexplate Wallbreaker, Akki Battle Squad, and Godo, Bandit Warlord accelerate the clock, allowing the deck to eliminate multiple opponents in rapid succession. Board-clearing burn spells like Chandra's Ignition and Blasphemous Act keep enemy blockers clear while punishing wide boards. While vulnerable to early artifact wipes and targeted removal before protective equipment attaches, the deck maintains resilience through alternate carriers like Chiss-Goria, Forge Tyrant and Thorin, Mountain-king, making it an explosive and persistent combat engine.
