Ultron Reigns Supreme by Banunga

Format: Commander

Commander: Ultron, Artificial Malevolence

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a colorless artifact-value deck helmed by Ultron, Artificial Malevolence, whose trigger creates a token copy of every nontoken artifact that enters (for {2}). The engine is doubling artifact ETBs: Solemn Simulacrum and Burnished Hart ramp twice, Hangarback Walker and Marketback Walker double their counters, and Steel Overseer / Iron Spider, Stark Upgrade double their counter production. Echoes of Eternity doubles Ultron's own trigger, producing two copies per artifact. The deck ramps hard with artifact mana (Thran Dynamo, Worn Powerstone, Everflowing Chalice, Urza lands) to deploy enormous threats - Darksteel Colossus, Ulamog, the Defiler, Ancient Stone Idol, Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought - and closes via combat, poison from Virulent Silencer, or the Luck Bobblehead lottery. It is a midrange value deck that wins through overwhelming artifact presence rather than a fast combo.
