Deck overview

This Reaper King deck operates as a high-powered tribal attrition control engine that weaponizes Changeling versatility to turn every cheap creature into a permanent-destroying threat. Backed by a premier mana base featuring all ten original dual lands, fast mana like Sol Ring and Ancient Tomb, and efficient ramp, the deck accelerates into Reaper King by Turn 4. Once the commander lands, low-cost Changelings such as Universal Automaton and Changeling Outcast trigger repeatable targeted destruction, dismantling opposing mana bases, commanders, and combo pieces. The deck amplifies these triggers with Roaming Throne, Panharmonicon, and Molten Echoes. If the commander is answered, mass reanimation from Living Death and Eerie Ultimatum immediately rebuilds the board while wiping opponents. The deck also contains an alternate win condition in the Painter's Servant and Grindstone combo, closing games through either total resource denial, combo mill, or buffed combat damage via Mirror Entity.
