Deck overview

This five-color Phyrexian Praetor tribal deck is helmed by Omnath, Locus of All, who provides mana fixing, ramp, and card selection by converting unspent mana and revealing high-color cards from the top of the library. The primary game plan is to accelerate into the most terrifying Praetors - Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines - and overwhelm opponents with their cumulative power. A secondary poison/infect theme runs through the deck, with Blighted Agent, Inkmoth Nexus, Skrelv's Hive, and Triumph of the Hordes offering alternate kill conditions. Realmbreaker, the Invasion Tree serves as a one-card finisher, tutoring all Praetors directly onto the battlefield. The deck relies on a dense ramp package (Bloom Tender, Faeburrow Elder, Birds of Paradise, Deathrite Shaman, Nature's Lore, Farseek) to deploy its high-mana threats ahead of curve, while a suite of tutors ensures key pieces are found consistently.
