Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius midrange strategy commanded by Denzilore Fatehold. It transforms every scry and surveil action into team-wide +1/+1 counters. The deck curves low-cost creatures and token makers into a flash-cast commander, triggering rapid buffs through attacking creatures, entering permanents, and utility lands. Once established, draw engines like Danny Pink and Matoya, Archon Elder provide substantial card replenishment. The deck breaks parity on combat using asymmetric board wipes like Wave Goodbye and Damning Verdict, which leave counter-laden creatures untouched while removing opposing blockers. Robust defensive options such as Clever Concealment and Flawless Maneuver protect the wide board from sweepers, allowing the deck to close games through overwhelming evasive combat damage.
