Teval in a New Dress by steviepopo

Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Sultai graveyard deck, helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale, is a self-mill value engine that turns a full graveyard into lands, tokens, and recursion. The primary plan is to fill the bin with creatures and lands, use Teval's attack trigger to recover a land each turn, and generate 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens from the ever-present "leaves your graveyard" triggers. The deck wins through overwhelming combat power-Avenger of Zendikar + land recursion, a massive Living Death turn, or drain from Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and Ob Nixilis, the Fallen. It is a classic midrange value pile with strong card selection but very low interaction speed.
