Deck overview

This deck is a Boros aggro strategy led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, designed to scale wide boards of Dwarves with dense artifact token production. By curving out low-cost Dwarves and Equipment in the early turns, the deck builds a foundation of Treasures and utility permanents. Once Thorin enters on Turn 5, every Dwarf entry adds Treasure while granting an escalating power buff across the entire board. Mid-game turns leverage combat-focused payoffs such as Dáin Ironfoot, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and Thorin, Company's Leader to grant double strike and push through massive damage. While the deck excels at generating mana velocity through Treasures and presenting high combat pressure, it relies heavily on permanent-based board presence and features light reactive interaction, making disciplined sequencing and proactive combat timing essential.
