Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis spellslinger control and combo list built around Cormela, Glamour Thief. Cormela provides both mana velocity and built-in graveyard recursion, functioning as a reliable ramp engine for instant and sorcery spells. The primary win condition is a compact loop involving Cormela, Saw in Half, and Dark Ritual. When executed, this loop generates infinite mana and allows infinite recursion of any instant or sorcery, closing the game immediately with burn spells like Lightning Bolt, Boltwave, or Fireball. Outside of the combo, the deck plays a classic control game: it uses efficient spot removal, board wipes like Blasphemous Act, and counterspells to manage the board while refilling its hand with draw engines like Fact or Fiction and Syphon Mind. Alternate win routes include token generation from Saheeli, Sublime Artificer and life drain from Professor Onyx.
