The Welcoming Committee by dj.phonetics

Format: Commander

Commander: Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kynaios and Tiro lead a political group-hug list that uses universal card draw and extra land drops to smooth the game while slipping into table-shaping threats. The primary path is draw-heavy: leverage Kynaios, Temple Bell, Kwain, and Kami of the Crescent Moon to find one of two finishers. The first is the Enchanted Evening + Aura Thief lock, with Brash Taunter (or Zacama's ping) as the sacrifice outlet. The second is repeated Approach of the Second Sun. Zedruu acts as a hidden commander for the donate package, while Omnath and Tannuk turn the deck's many land drops into burn. Political goading and lifegain slow opponents down, but the deck's symmetrical gifts are a real drawback.
