Deck overview

This deck is an Esper topdeck control and midrange strategy built around Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan uses cheap cantrips and library manipulation such as Brainstorm, Ponder, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter to arrange high-impact odd-cost spells on top of the library. Once Yennett attacks, it casts these spells for free, rapidly cheating out game-warping threats like Magister Sphinx, Summon: Bahamut, and Angelic Arbiter. The rest of the deck provides a robust defensive shell, featuring efficient spot removal, sweepers, and attack-taxing enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Propaganda to slow down aggressive opponents. While the deck lacks fast combo kills and depends on Yennett surviving without haste, its high threat density, evasive combat pressure, and resilient value engines make it formidable in mid-to-late-game multiplayer environments.
