dimir by gajshield

Format: Commander

Commander: Hidetsugu and Kairi

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Dimir deck leverages Hidetsugu and Kairi as both a draw engine and a reusable death-trigger combo piece. The primary game plan is a two-card win with Demonic Consultation and Thassa's Oracle, supported by five tutors and a heavy draw package. The commander provides card advantage and can be sacrificed to exile and cast high-impact spells, while a reanimation suite brings back Gray Merchant and Syr Konrad to drain opponents. If the combo is disrupted, incremental drain effects and sacrifice synergies keep the deck in the game. The mana base is solid but includes several tapped lands, and the deck has a strong control core with spot removal and three counterspells.
