Deck overview

This deck combines fast Elfball mana acceleration with a graveyard-based combo finish led by Thranduil, the Elvenking. In the opening turns, low-cost mana dorks like Priest of Titania, Llanowar Elves, and Arbor Elf ramp your mana pool. Tutors such as Buried Alive, Entomb, and Jarad's Orders place high-impact Elf cards into your graveyard. Once deployed, Thranduil inherits the activated abilities of those buried Elves, using Devoted Druid alongside Marwyn, the Nurturer or Selvala, Heart of the Wilds to generate infinite mana. That mana feeds directly into Ezuri, Renegade Leader for infinite combat damage or Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord for direct table-wide life drain. If the commander is unavailable, backup infinite mana combos like Ashaya, Soul of the Wild and Argothian Elder provide redundancy, while Heroic Intervention and targeted removal protect your board.
