New Untitled Deck by Insanecartoon

Format: Commander

Commander: Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker is the engine of this mono-black aristocrats deck: it recycles every power-1 creature that dies, so the same cheap bodies can die every turn. The primary plan is to sacrifice low-power fodder to free outlets and drain the table with Blood Artist, Zulapat Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Syr Konrad. A secondary plan uses rituals and Black Market to cast a large Exsanguinate or recur Gray Merchant of Asphodel. The deck also hides a narrow infinite drain loop: Pitiless Plunderer, Pawn of Ulamog, Tenacious Dead, any sacrifice outlet, and a drain trigger. There is no double-faced commander; Sothera and Syr Konrad are support engines, not alternates.
