Jin - Phyrex. Oil by Deelaun

Format: Commander

Commander: Jin-Gitaxias // The Great Synthesis

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Jin-Gitaxias // The Great Synthesis is both a draw engine and a finisher. The front half accrues cards from every expensive noncreature spell; the back half turns that huge hand into a free-casting turn that ends the game. The deck is built around Phyrexian creatures and oil/proliferation synergies, with Tekuthal doubling proliferate effects to grow Replicating Ring and utility creatures. The usual kill is Psychosis Crawler or Scrawling Crawler draining opponents while big Phyrexian threats close in combat. Secondary paths include Phyrexian Triniform's token army and Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant copying spells. The commander is essential; without it the deck becomes a slower, less focused blue deck.
