Turtles by SPC_McNugget

Format: Commander

Commander: Heroes in a Half Shell

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This five-color deck helmed by Heroes in a Half Shell is an aggressive +1/+1 counter strategy built around the Mutant, Ninja, and Turtle tribes. The commander provides a powerful engine with haste, vigilance, menace, and trample, drawing a card each time one of these creatures deals combat damage. The game plan focuses on deploying the commander early, following up with counter-doubling effects like Doubling Season and Corpsejack Menace, and then overwhelming opponents with a single massive combat turn powered by extra combat steps from Raph & Leo, Sibling Rivals. The deck wins through colossal commander damage or a team of scaled-up creatures with trample, supported by token generation from Mutagen tokens and value engines like Academy Manufactor.
