Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact-token midrange and burn strategy commanded by Aerid Konstrari. The primary engine exploits the legend rule: whenever you create a token copy of Aerid, the token triggers its enters ability to create a Heartwood token, then dies to the legend rule and immediately triggers its dies ability to create a second Heartwood token. This turns every clone effect into a two-mana ramp spell and double artifact trigger. The deck leverages this explosive ramp into lethal burn via Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, Chandra's Ignition, and Crackle with Power, or converts tokens into massive combat threats through Displaced Dinosaurs and Depthshaker Titan. With dense low-cost ramp and abundant copy effects, the deck reliably establishes its engine by Turn 4 and pressures the table on Turn 5, finishing on Turn 6.
