Landfall with a twist? by LokiTheMoron

Format: Commander

Commander: Grizzlegom, Hurloon Hero

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Grizzlegom, Hurloon Hero leads a five-color lands deck that uses its rulebreaker ability to play any land. The deck fixes land types with Prismatic Omen, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, Yavimaya and Urborg so every land counts as Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain and Forest, maximizing Grizzlegom's attack trigger for tokens, cards, drain, counters and life. Extra land drops from Azusa, Exploration, Burgeoning and Oracle accelerate landfall payoffs like Field of the Dead, Scute Swarm, Omnath and Lumra. Extra combats from Moraug, Karlach and Aggravated Assault turn wide boards and a growing Grizzlegom into lethal combat, with Impact Tremors and Valakut as secondary reach.
