Deck overview

This Commander deck is a dedicated 5-color Cycling Storm engine commanded by Kenrith, the Returned King. The game plan focuses on using cheap 1-mana landcyclers and cycling landscapes to establish perfect five-color mana fixing and consistently hit land drops across the early turns. In the midgame, the deck deploys cost-reducers and synergy engines such as Fluctuator, Gavi, Nest Warden, Ominous Seas, and Drannith Stinger. The primary win condition centers on resolving New Perspectives, which makes cycling costs 0 while holding seven or more cards. From there, the deck cycles through dozens of cards in a single storm turn, triggering Drannith Stinger or Magmakin Artillerist to deal lethal damage to all opponents simultaneously, assisted by Shadow of the Grave to recur cycled cards. If the storm line is disrupted, Kenrith provides a resilient reanimator backup plan by returning large cycled beaters to the battlefield.
