Deck overview

This Jeskai Equipment Voltron deck is helmed by Captain America, First Avenger, whose Throw ability turns high-mana-value Equipment into direct damage. The primary game plan is to attach expensive Equipment like Excalibur, Sword of Eden or Argentum Armor to the commander, then activate Throw to deal lethal damage split among opponents. The deck also leverages combat triggers from Swords (Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of Hearth and Home) for mana and value, and includes extra-combat cards (Hexplate Wallbreaker, Genji Glove) to accelerate. A dense tutor suite (Stoneforge Mystic, Enlightened Tutor, Steelshaper's Gift) ensures consistent access to key Equipment, while draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Puresteel Paladin keep the hand full. The deck wins through repeated Throw activations, often finishing one player per turn once enough mana and Equipment are assembled.
