Draco by Kjke41

Format: Commander

Commander: Rivaz of the Claw

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Rivaz of the Claw runs a Rakdos Dragon reanimator/aggro deck. Selective discard fills the graveyard with expensive Dragons and Anger, while Rivaz adds two mana for Dragon spells and lets one Dragon be recast from the graveyard each turn. The primary win is hasted, flying combat damage, amplified by Dragon Tempest and Scourge of the Throne's extra combat. Secondary plans use Treasure engines from Atsushi, Ganax, Decadent Dragon, and Smaug, with Hellkite Tyrant as an alternate artifact win. The double-faced Dragons are used mainly as their Dragon faces; their adventure/omen spells are utility. The deck wins through repeated evasive attacks rather than a one-card combo; when the graveyard is stocked, Living Death or Patriarch's Bidding can rebuild the entire board in a single turn.
