Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dimir tempo and combat-burn strategy commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary game plan deploys evasive one-drop creatures to activate commander ninjutsu on Turn 2. Connecting with Yuriko and fellow Ninjas draws cards and drains each opponent's life total equal to the revealed card's mana value. Top-deck manipulation tools such as Brainstorm, Scroll Rack, and Insatiable Avarice consistently stack high-mana payloads like Shadow of Mortality (15 CMC) and Temporal Trespass (11 CMC) on top of the library, rapidly burning the entire table. The deck defends its tempo with efficient interaction, flash hatebears like Opposition Agent and Orcish Bowmasters, and extra-turn spells. If combat lanes are blocked or heavy removal stalls the board, the deck can pivot seamlessly to a compact backup win condition using Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation.
