Deck overview

This Roxanne, Starfall Savant deck operates as a high-velocity Gruul artifact-token and burn midrange powerhouse. The primary strategy accelerates into Roxanne on turn 3 or 4, immediately establishing an engine that creates Meteorite tokens and doubles the mana produced by all artifact tokens. Roxanne turns every subsequent combat step into direct damage and mana ramp. The deck leverages this explosive mana velocity to deploy token multipliers like Doubling Season and Roaming Throne, damage amplifiers like Fiery Emancipation, and artifact-entry pingers like Ingenious Artillerist and Reckless Fireweaver. The deck closes games around turn 6 through overwhelming burn damage and massive combat swings, backed by infinite combat lines via Aggravated Assault and Old Gnawbone. A robust protection suite features Deflecting Swat, Heroic Intervention, and protective equipment to safeguard key permanents. While vulnerable to comprehensive exile board wipes like Farewell, Roxanne's redundant Dragon threats and heavy Treasure production provide excellent resilience and high closing power.
