Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Temur Dragon tribal strategy helmed by Ureni of the Unwritten. The primary game plan focuses on spending the first four turns establishing a mana foundation through land ramp, mana rocks, and cost reducers like Urza's Incubator and Dragonlord's Servant. On Turn 5, the deck deploys Ureni, immediately digging eight cards deep to cheat a massive Dragon onto the battlefield. Powerhouse payoffs such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and Atarka, World Render rapidly transform single Dragon deployments into overwhelming board presence and burst damage. Haste enablers like Temur Ascendancy and Dragon Tempest allow Ureni to attack immediately, triggering a second cheat wave. The deck closes the game across Turns 6 and 7 through high-flying aerial combat and doubled damage, supported by efficient defensive interaction like Deflecting Swat and Heroic Intervention to preserve its lethal board.
