Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai midrange strategy centered on The Wise Mothman, utilizing radiation counters, mill mechanics, and +1/+1 counters to grind down opponents. The primary game plan accelerates into an early commander deployment, distributing rad counters that force all players to mill cards and lose life during their precombat main phases. Each nonland card milled triggers Mothman, distributing +1/+1 counters across your board to turn utility creatures and the commander into massive threats. Synergies like Mesmeric Orb, Mindcrank, and Hardened Scales accelerate counter growth and library depletion, while Breach the Multiverse converts filled graveyards into a commanding board presence. While the deck boasts explosive combat scaling and recurring chip damage, it relies on maintaining nonland permanents over multiple turn cycles and lacks cheap countermagic to defend against fast combo decks.
