Deck overview

Led by Smaug the Magnificent, this deck executes an aggressive Mono-Red Dragon stompy strategy supported by rapid Treasure generation and scaling burn triggers. The opening turns prioritize mana acceleration through cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and artifact ramp such as Arcane Signet. Deploying Smaug the Magnificent on turn four immediately threatens opponents thanks to flying, haste, and an attack trigger that converts accumulated Treasure into direct damage. In subsequent turns, the deck compounds this pressure by casting high-impact Dragon threats including Terror of the Peaks, Goldspan Dragon, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen, or damage amplifiers like Fiery Emancipation and Twinflame Tyrant. Asymmetric damage sweepers like Desolation of Smaug and Blasphemous Act clear opposing blockers while preserving Dragon parity. Across turns six and seven, the deck overwhelms the table through massive aerial combat and direct Treasure burn, closing out all three opponents within two response cycles.
