Deck overview

This is a high-speed Golgari combo deck built to win through a compact two-card infinite loop. The commander, Gorma, the Gullet, provides incidental value from creature deaths but is not central to the primary game plan. The deck leans heavily on an efficient tutor suite and a dense package of fast mana (Dark Ritual, Culling the Weak, Mana Vault, Chrome Mox) to assemble its primary win condition-Chain of Smog plus a magecraft drainer (Witherbloom Apprentice or Professor Onyx). When that line is disrupted, persist-based loops with Melira, Sylvok Outcast or Agatha's Soul Cauldron and a sacrifice outlet serve as a backup infinite-death-trigger path. The deck is extremely low to the ground (average CMC 1.94 without lands) and aims to close the game by turn 3-4, with a heavy emphasis on redundancy and speed over long-term card advantage.
