Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai Elf-ball deck that treats the graveyard as a toolbox. The primary plan is to ramp with cheap Elves, fill the graveyard with utility Elf creatures (Buried Alive, Entomb, Lluwen, dredge), and then have Thranduil copy their activated abilities for massive or infinite mana. That mana is converted through Staff of Domination into drawing the library, or simply through Exsanguinate, Lathril's drain, or a Craterhoof overrun. Secondary lines are token Elf beatdown with Elvish Warmaster and Imperious Perfect, plus Ezuri's trample lord effect. The commander is the engine and the main mana combo source; there is no double-faced or hidden commander, but Lathril and Ezuri serve as alternate finishers.
