Treefolk and Spiders by user4221272

Deck overview

This Abzan Treefolk tribal deck is helmed by Doran, Besieged by Time, a commander that reduces the cost of creatures with toughness greater than power and pumps them when they attack or block. The deck leans heavily into the toughness-matters theme, using Doran, the Siege Tower in the 99 to let high-toughness creatures deal combat damage equal to their toughness. The game plan is to deploy a resilient board of large Treefolk and Spiders, protect them with indestructible effects and recursion, and overwhelm opponents through sheer combat inevitability. Primary win conditions include massive overruns via Beastmaster Ascension or Last March of the Ents followed by a wide swing. The deck lacks infinite combos, relying instead on consistent value, strong recursion, and a dense protection suite.
