A Hobbit to Turn the Tide v2 by andisir

Format: Commander

Commander: Frodo, Sauron's Bane

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Frodo, Sauron's Bane is an Orzhov stax-and-voltron deck built around a single triggered win: tempt the Ring four times, transform Frodo into a Rogue, make him unblockable, and kill one opponent per combat. The deck uses Call of the Ring, nine Nazgul, and incidental tempt effects to reach four tempts while taxing opponents with Archon of Emeria, Deafening Silence, Thalia, and Blind Obedience. Protection is dense-Mother of Runes, Flawless Maneuver, Boromir, and cheap equipment-because Frodo must survive three separate attack steps to eliminate the table. There is no hidden commander; the 99 supports Frodo's transformation and protects the attack. Secondary beats from Nazgul and stax are backup, not a real alternate win.
