Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck, helmed by The Emperor of Palamecia // The Lord Master of Hell, aims to fill its graveyard with instants and sorceries, transform the commander into its demonic back face, and then annihilate opponents with its Starfall attack trigger - dealing X damage to each opponent equal to the number of noncreature, nonland cards in the graveyard. The deck supports this plan with heavy self-mill (Traumatize, Bond of Insight, Cut Your Losses), potent recursion engines (Archaeomancer, Charmbreaker Devils, Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch), and token generation (Rise from the Tides, Experimental Overload). A secondary path generates a massive token or beats down with evasive commanders, while Omniscience + Enter the Infinite provides a late-game "storm off" option. The deck is slow to assemble its win but can generate overwhelming burst damage from the command zone if left unchecked.
