Azu-Lutely Not (Budget Fire Lord Azula - Control) by user9470490

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula is a Grixis spell-copy combo deck that uses Azula's attack trigger to float red mana and copy every instant/sorcery cast during combat. The primary plan is to attack with Azula, multiply rituals with Repeated Reverberation and Increasing Vengeance, then bury opponents under copied Electrodominance or Exsanguinate. Secondary lines use Dualcaster Mage or Naru Meha plus Essence Flux and Storm-Kiln Artist to generate infinite Treasures, and Vesuvan Duplimancy plus Baral provide value and cost reduction. There is no hidden commander; Naru Meha is the closest equivalent, acting as a second copy engine and combo piece. If the commander is stalled, the deck pivots to a controlling tempo game with many counters and removal.
