Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control-midrange list helmed by Marneus Calgar. It leverages format-tier fast mana, premium tutors, and high-efficiency free interaction to establish early board presence and card advantage. Instead of pursuing fast two-card infinite combos, the deck focuses on turning every token creation event into card advantage through Marneus and Mister Fantastic, Reed Richards. Passive token generators such as Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff, Charismatic Conqueror, and Ocelot Pride trigger consistently on opponents' turns, refilling your hand while establishing a defensive wall. As the game transitions into the midgame, Kambal, Profiteering Mayor weaponizes each token entry with asymmetric life drain, while Stridehangar Automaton expands your airborne presence. Protection pieces like Silence, Ranger-Captain of Eos, and Voice of Victory secure your turns against opposing disruption, allowing your token army to convert card supremacy into a decisive combat victory over two table rotations.
