Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Dragon tribal strategy built around Atarka, World Render. Its primary objective is to accelerate mana during the early turns, deploy mid-sized Dragon threats, and cast Atarka on Turn 5 to grant double strike to all attacking Dragons. This setup creates massive aerial pressure starting on Turn 6, eliminating opponents one by one over three combat rotations. The 99 features strong standalone beaters like Drakuseth, Maw of Flames and Ancient Copper Dragon, passive draw engines like Elemental Bond, and an incidental infinite Dragon token combo with Ganax, Astral Hunter and Draconic Visitor. Because the list contains no nonland tutors and limited instant-speed interaction, it plays as a classic battlecruiser combat deck that relies on top-decked redundancy and resilient high-power flyers to overwhelm opposition.
