Deck overview

The deck is a high-mana Sphinx tribal value strategy. Its best ordinary engine is Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign, which reduces Sphinx costs and turns every Sphinx entry into a four-card pile selection. The deck then uses large flying creatures, reanimation, opposing-graveyard casting, and attack triggers to build advantage. The Ur-Sphinx offers a second payoff: attacking Sphinxes mill each player and may let the deck cast one milled card from each graveyard. That effect is powerful when several Sphinxes attack, but it is delayed by the commander's nine-mana cost and requires a developed board. The list has useful spot removal and a few counters, but little tutoring or protection. Its main limitation is not access to individual strong cards; it is the lack of a compact, deterministic way to convert card advantage into a table kill. Expect a long midgame rather than a competitive early finish.
